Tiles

Classic tiles from Harlinger, Friesland, The Netherlands. Various shades of faint blue tiles, with a hint of gold, that look to be white at a casual glance:

Extremely popular in Holland, they even make a wallpaper replica of Friese Witjes:

Handmade square tiles: 13 cm x 13 cm, ~8mm thick. 60 pieces per square meter.

Tiles should be placed in the traditional old way: as close as possible together with a maximum 1 millimeter narrow joint.
